Pool Opening

We’re excited to announce that the Dollar Point Pool will be opening on Monday, May 24, 2021! From May 24th-28th, the pool will be open 9am-5pm, lap swim reservations only with a capacity limit of 14 people. Reservations can be made up to 48 hours in advance, starting on May 22nd, by emailing info@dollarpoint.org or by using the pool reservation form on the website. Your reservation is considered confirmed ONCE YOU RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL – NOT WHEN YOU SEND THE EMAIL. Each reservation has a 10 minute grace period before the reservation is considered canceled. A valid Dollar Point ID must be shown to enter the pool.

Beginning on Saturday, May 29, 2021, the pool hours will change to 7am-7pm with a capacity limit of 63 people until June 15th (California’s opening date). From 7am-11am the pool will be available for lap swim reservations. 11am-5pm the pool will open up for free swim with one lane kept in for walk-in lap swimmers. 5pm-7pm two lanes will be available for lap swim reservations while the rest of the pool remains free swim.

Please note that capacity limits or other pool rules may change to comply with California’s guidelines.

Dollar Point ID Cards

A reminder before Memorial weekend that one person in a group will need a valid Dollar Point ID card in order to enter the facilities.  Members and family members described in the rules and listed by the member on the family listing may obtain an ID card. If you appear without your Dollar Point ID card, entry will not be permitted. Dollar Point ID cards issued in previous years are still valid, you will not need to replace them.

Any individual who plans on using the facilities by themselves will need their own ID card. There is no need for a family member to have an ID card if they will not be using the facilities. ID cards are created in the office at the pool, every person who wants a card made will need to bring valid proof of identity.

If you need an ID card or need to update your family member listing, please call the office 530-583-4487 or email info@dollarpoint.org

Basketball Hoop

A basketball hoop has been placed on the upper tennis courts on court 3. Basketballs are available to use at the office or members may bring their own ball. The hoop will be available for 1-hour max reservations, members can call or stop by the office to make reservations.

Beach Rack Opening

This Saturday, May 1, 2021, the beach rack will open for storage for all members with the appropriate sticker. Paddleboards and kayaks may be stored on the beach rack (until November 1, 2021) with the spot assigned on the sticker. Daily audits will be run by staff to ensure that members are on the appropriate spot and that no one is poaching spots. If you do not plan on using your paddleboard or kayak spot, please let the office know as we have a very long waitlist!

DPA News Summary – Coming on Fridays

Looking for what’s new at Dollar Point? Are there member announcements regarding facilities, committees, DPA board meetings or community info you need to be aware of?

The new website has a page dedicated to Association News (https://www.dollarpoint.org/news-events/association-news). The page provides a listing of all news postings and is searchable by category and month. It’s a fast and easy way to keep up to date.

Starting Friday March 26th, members will receive a short email with news items posted over the last week. The email will include the title, a few brief view of the item and link to the full posting. To see the full article, login to the DPA member website and then click the article link.  You will only receive emails when there is news to share.
