Pickleball on Court 1

As of June 11, 2022, pickleball will be moved to Court 1. Please take note when making online reservations that Court 1 has been split into two options and if tennis is to be played then both sides of the court need to be reserved.

Swim Reservations

It’s now easier than ever to book a swim lane for lap swimming! To book a swim lane, go to the Pool tab and scroll past the photo of the child swimming. You’ll see the option to book a reservation by the swim lane, starting with the chosen day and then the time. You can book a maximum of 2 hours per day and book 48 hours in advance. Reservations can only be made after the current reservation has been completed. The office will monitor all reservations and will cancel any reservation that does not follow the rules. Reservations can still be made in person and over the phone.

Summer’s Here!

Beginning on Saturday, May 28th there will be gate hosts down at the beach to check members in. You must present your Dollar Point ID card to the gate host for access to the beach and the pool. Please remember that the cardholder must be present, using another member’s card without that member being present will not work. All ID cards from past years are still valid. If a card is having trouble scanning, bring it by the office where we can fix the issue. If you do not have an ID card, swing by the office to get one made!

2021 Firewise Recertification Complete

Firewise USA has recertified Dollar Point as a wildfire safe community. Congratulations to all!

Recertification is based on our community investment to reduce wildfire risk. Investments include volunteer hours, volume of combustible fuel removed and educational events and communication to members. Thanks to all for the hard work to remove combustible fuel, fire harden homes and create defensible space. Based on the data collected along the way our community invested 28 times the minimum required for certification. A standout performance!

If you need a copy of the latest Firewise USA certificate, go the Fire Awareness page to download it. https://www.dollarpoint.org/news-events/fire-awareness

Committee Annual Reports – Beach & Pier Now Available

Committees drive our community. Communication of committee results improves community transparency. During the recent annual meeting several members expressed interest in committee annual reports. Specifically, posting annual reports on the committee website pages for all members to review. The following reports are now posted for member review. The intent is to provide a quick, one page report of accomplishments over the past year.
