Update ID Cards

Over the winter we switched to a new check-in system and unfortunately not all the barcodes for the photo IDs transferred over.  We encourage all members who haven’t used their ID cards since last summer or whose cards aren’t scanning properly to stop by the office so that staff can test the cards and correct the issue if needed.

Pickleball on Court 1

As of June 11, 2022, pickleball will be moved to Court 1. Please take note when making online reservations that Court 1 has been split into two options and if tennis is to be played then both sides of the court need to be reserved.

Summer’s Here!

Beginning on Saturday, May 28th there will be gate hosts down at the beach to check members in. You must present your Dollar Point ID card to the gate host for access to the beach and the pool. Please remember that the cardholder must be present, using another member’s card without that member being present will not work. All ID cards from past years are still valid. If a card is having trouble scanning, bring it by the office where we can fix the issue. If you do not have an ID card, swing by the office to get one made!

Summer Jobs

As we’re gearing up for summer, we’re still looking to hire Lifeguards and Gate Hosts. If your child or grandchild is looking for a summer job, send them our way! Below are the job descriptions to read through and an application to fill out. Completed applications can be emailed to info@dollarpoint.org, mailed to P.O. Report Your Firewise Certification Data

Spring clean up is underway!  A website form its now available to help with reporting member Firewise certification data.  Please share your Firewise certification data with the Firewise committee by clicking on the link below.

 Report Your Certification Data

Why?  Firewise USA certification requires us to provide information on the following:

  • Vegetation removal events and volume metrics
  • Risk reduction investment (volunteer hours and expense costs) to reduce fire fuel and hazards

We Need Your Participation with Metrics
The Firewise committee tracks vegetation removal events (Dumpster Days) and the associated volume removed. However, we need your help with metrics on direct costs paid and any volunteer hours invested in reducing fire risk.

See the details on the form page for what’s needed and share your fire risk reduction investment to help with our annual Firewise certification.

Thank you and stay safe!
